My baby is 12-years-old!

Andrew's birthday was Tuesday, June 10th, which was during a very busy week for us, but we managed to do a little celebrating. Todd spent part of the week out of town, so we celebrated his birthday Monday night with a dinner at Shogun before Todd left on Tuesday. We had a great time, and they came and sang to Andrew. What I didn't know was that Megan snuck out and told them it was my birthday also, so they came back out and sang "Happpy Birthday to Mama-san." They gave Andrew dessert, which was chocolate. Still don't understand how a kid of mine doesn't like chocolate, but he gave it to me. While posing for a picture together, I decide it might be fun to smear a little chocolate on his face. Well, that resulted in a food fight that I'm ashamed to tell you he won.


On Tuesday before Todd left, Andrew and I shared a little birthday cake so I could blow out some candles also. It was Andrew's actual birthday and the day before mine. We each had our own candle, which I thoroughly enjoyed. It was much easier to blow out than 30-something candles! Todd gave me a gift he thought up completely on his own, something I had no clue about and had never mentioned wanting. He got me a digital photo frame, which I love. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love photos, so it's perfect!


Finally, Friday night was Andrew's party. We kicked it off by going to see Kung Fu Panda, followed by pizza, cake and ice cream with family and friends, then Andrew had a couple of the guys spend the night to play Wii all night. He was blessed with gifts and looks forward to spending his money soon on something video game related. His Mamasharon made him a Guitar Hero cake at his request. All in all, a great birthday week!
