Quick Update with No cute title

My camera is on loan to a friend, and as soon as I get it back I have some pics to share. I did want to say that I haven't fallen off the face of the planet. Here's a quick rundown on what's been happening here since we returned from New Orleans.....

The kids finished their ball seasons last Saturday with Andrew's team finishing in 4th place in their league and Megan's team coming in 2nd in theirs. The BG Thunder lost a heartbreaker to the Abby's Angels. Their team was named after Abby Cummings, a little girl who had died of cancer. Her mother, sister and brother were there to witness them win the county championship, so it wasn't as devistating as it could have been for our girls. Personally, while I love to watch the kids play, I'm ready for a break. I'm a little glad the season is over. (Oh yeah...Three cheers for Andrew's good buddy, Sam, who made the All-Stars. We're really proud of him!)

We're enjoying having the Senior High Bible study at our house on Sunday nights. This week we had pizza. Just a reminder to any readers....bring finger foods next week. (BTW, Lee finally got in on a game of Ultimate Trampoline Frisbee....he beat Patrick. Not bad for an old guy, huh? Oh, and MD is an awesome Hovermaster!)

Todd had vision correction surgery Monday. They did the first eye. They'll do the other eye in another week or two. It is rather strange to see him without glasses. Except for sleeping at night, he's almost never without his specs. It'll be an adjustment for sure. Personally, I think he's handsome either way. But, at least now, when I kiss him I won't leave face prints on his glasses!

I've already conducted two jewelry parties this week. I have another tonight and two next week. I'm loving Lia Sophia! It's a great company, the jewelry is beautiful and I'm having a blast. July has an awesome sale for customers...if anyone's interested, give me a shout!
