This was supposed to be an end of the school year celebration, but we still have a week and a half left in our school year. I guess we could be done at the end of this week, but I really need to finish another chapter of English. Yesterday I wasn't feeling that great and we didn't have school. This morning, Megan came to me to make sure we were having school today. I assured her we were. She said, "Good, because I was a little bored all day yesterday." This, of course, is music to a homeschool mom's ears! I'm looking forward to a summer break, but I also love sitting down and doing school with the kids. I'm kind of on a roll right now. But, I know the summer will pass quickly and next year will be here before we know it. I'm sure Walmart will have their back to school aisle in full swing in a matter of weeks! It think the only thing I dread about next school year is that I will have a child in JR. HIGH! Man, I feel old!

Homeschool
This is Andrew and his buddies, Jonah and Ethan, at our homeschool field day last week. It was a lot of fun watching the kids play games and have a blast. The part where they got in the car to leave looking like they had just come out of a swimming pool was not so fun.
Megan had a blast, too. She was quite an instigator in the water fights, which is usually not so much her thing.

Glad you are blogging. Megan looks so grown up here. It's hard to believe she will be in middle school next year.
