Meet Amanda, our rent-a-kid. Okay, so to get technical she is our "Adopted College Student" from The Hilltoppers for Christ. We are absolutely enjoying having her. She really is like part of the family. I guess she'll be even more part of the family this summer as she's going to live with us while doing her summer internship here in town. We're looking forward to having her. I mean, what's the point of having a fully-dedicated guest room if it only gets used a couple of times a year? We're also looking forward to sharing our pool membership with her this summer. What better way to unwind after a long day at the office than to dive into a nice, cool pool? Andrew tolerates Amanda well, but is not overjoyed since, quite obviously, she is not a boy. Megan, on the other hand, would have her adopt her legally if such a thing were possible. Amanda will have extra stars in her crown for tolerating all the nerf gun fights. And.....we're all learning a little bit more about NASCAR thanks to her.

Our Newest Addition

Hey Dana - welcome to blogger!!! So now that you have an adopted college student, do you feel like you have come full circle since the days when you were a college student? Did you ever get "adopted" out? Steven did - he still talks about his "adopted" parents. By the way - Todd smashing his cell phone just to get the run............and to beat Andrew.......NOT GOOD!!! :-) LOL
