I've been tagged

Here are the rules--

1) Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
2) People who are tagged need to write a post on their own blog (about their eight things) and post these rules.
3) At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
4) Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

Eight random facts about me:

1. I've lived in four states, but two of the four I've lived in twice. Louisiana, California, Tennessee and Kentucky.

2. I absolutely hate making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Something about the texture of spreading jelly with a knife creeps me out. So, I buy jam. It's more spreadable and minimizes the creepiness.

3. When I was a kid, I was making a tent and knocked over a marble-topped courtroom stand and tried to catch the marble. Naturally, it pinned my hand to the floor and broke my middle finger. To this day, my finger is fat and my fingernail has a line to show where it used to be and had to grow out wider to meet the rest of my finger.

4. San Francisco is my all-time favorite city on the planet. I love the clam chowder down by Fisherman's Wharf, the hills, the cable cars, the Chinese food, the cool breeze...everything about the city!

5. I feel like a jack of all trades and master of none. I think I dabble in too many things, too many hobbies and interests, etc. and don't spend enough time getting good at any one thing. But, I just love life and want to expereince a little of everything.

6. My most prized possession is a restaurant table sugar packet (with the sugar still in it) that Todd gave me. He wrote "You are my" right above the word sugar.

7. Movies are a family tradition for me. When I'm with my family, we tend to go to the movies on Thanksgiving Day even. I love the stories. My ultimate dream job would be to edit movie into film trailers.

8. I love to eat, but the two things I will not put in my mouth are canteloupe and raw cottge cheese. The smell of canteloupe makes me want to hurl. (So does the smell of those orange circus peanut candies.) I can handle cottage cheese if it's well-disguised in a lasagna, but not all by itself. They say your taste buds change every 7 years. I think this is true becasue over time, I seem to like some things that I never used to, like guacamole. But, so far, the canteloupe and cottage cheese haven't succumbed to the seven year rule.

Okay, I tag Carla, Melanie, Ashley, Kate and Ben.

P.S. I got my nails done yesterday and can't seem to type worth a nickel. so, if this is loaded with typos, I'm not stupid, just dumb enough to get a full set of nails!

Try SPREAD next time for making PB & J's. It's easy to spread on without the clumpy, strawberry goobers (assuming that's your choice). I would love to go to CA one day. Paul and Shannon just got back, and WOW--wishful thinking, not sure if we'll ever make it out west.
