Lambert's

Friday night we made a trek to Lambert's in Sikeston, Missouri. We love Lambert's. It's the "Home of the Throwed Polls." Servers throw hot rolls across the room to anyone holding up their hands. If you drop yours, don't fret. They'll just throw you another. The food is great, and the quantities are massive. Let's just say that when I ordered the meatloaf, I thought I'd get SOME meatloaf, not A meatloaf. If you've never been, I highly recommend it. You order your entree and sides, but then servers walk around handing out additional complimentary sides like black-eyed peas, fried okra, macaroni and tomatoes, fried potatoes and onions, etc. My favorite is the server who comes around with a can of sorgham molasses. You just hold up your roll and he drops a glob right on it. Who needs dessert when you've got that?
If you go, wear your "fat pants."

LOVE Lambert's. I've only eaten there once in Gulf Shores. Where's the closest one to BG? Great photos! I cannot believe how big Andrew is getting.
