I'm finally able to share pictures of our drive to Hana on Friday. This is the north shore of Maui, a surfer's paradise...
I just like this picture...
These trees were originally planted by sailors many years ago so they would have replacement masts for their ships...
The very curvy Hana Highway...
Beautiful Keane point (my favorite part of the drive to Hana)...
The powerful waves crash on the shore at Keane Point...
The rocky point at Keane...
Beautiful Waterfalls just off the side of the road....
Wainapana State Park.....
Inside the lava tube at the Black Sand Beach at Wainapana State Park....
Beautiful waterfalls were everywhere on this drive.....
The Seven Sacred Pools near the end of the Hana Highway.....there was too much rain, so they weren't swimmable this day....
The final resting place of Aviator Charles Lindbergh just past the Seven Sacred Pools at the end of the Hana Highway...

Absolutely gorgeous!! One of the waterfall pictures I set as my new computer background :)
I too have survived the "road to hana." it is so beautiful, in fact it was my favorite touristy thing we did in hawaii!
