Prayer Request

Megan and Andrew had physicals for their entry into the public school system (I'll explain that one in a post soon) yesterday. Today, after the bloodwork came back, Megan was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroidism (Hypothyroidism). It actually runs in both our families, so the poor gal doesn't stand a chance. Anyway, if the medication does it's trick, this may eliminate some of the areas of Megan's physical health that have been bothering her for a while. She has an appointment with a pediatric endocrinologist at Vanderbilt next month. Everytime I think about it all I get a little queasy. So, please keep us in your prayers.

Megan is in our prayers. Thyroid problems run in my family too. Luckily, I have never had any issues and hopefully Emma never will either. WELCOME HOME!!!

You mean they actually did something rather than just weight and height and eyesight.
Everything will be alright Megan.
I love you

We'll be praying for sweet Megan. Noah sees a pediatric endocrinologist at Vanderbilt, and she's been great--Jennifer Najjar--just wondered who she'll be seeing. Anyway, it is nerve-wracking to have to see a specialist of any kind, but we trust that God--through you and Todd and through the docs--will take excellent care of her!!

I also saw Jennifer Najjar at Vandy when I was a kid (and even saw her as an adult). I had thyroid surgery at age 10 or 11... anyway, there are LOTS of advances with thyroid knowledge. I'd love to chat about it with you. Please know that I am PRAYING for her (and you too). Call me one day soon for lunch!
